Not receiving alerts?

The six reasons a tracked wallet can trade without an alert, with the buttons to check on Telegram, Discord and the Web Terminal.

When a wallet you track moves and no alert arrives, the cause is almost always a pause, a chain switch, a filter, a quota or the delivery destination. Work through the list for your app in this order.

Filters, pauses and quotas belong to the account, so a setting changed in one app also applies to the other two.

  1. SpyBot paused. Open ⚙️ Settings. A ⏸️ Pause SpyBot button means alerts are running. If the button reads ▶️ Unpause SpyBot, the account is paused: press it.
  2. Chain switched off. In the same screen, Solana notifications, Ethereum notifications, Base notifications, Robinhood Chain notifications, BNB Smart Chain notifications and Polygon notifications each read ON or PAUSED. A paused chain explains a silence on that chain only.
  3. Wallet paused. Press 📝 List in the menu. Each wallet starts with ✅ when tracked, ⏸️ when paused, ⌛ when paused by your quota. Open the wallet, then press Resume Tracking.
  4. Filters too strict. A minimum amount above the trades, a market cap range, a token age limit or an excluded platform hides matching transactions. See Filters.
  5. Quota reached. Free allows 100 alerts an hour and 1,000 a day. When the counter is full, the wallet shows Quota paused with This wallet is paused due to quota limits. and It will automatically resume when limits reset.
  6. Bot blocked. If you blocked, stopped or deleted the chat, Telegram refuses the message. Open the bot and send /start: any message reactivates delivery.
  1. Destination state. Press 📬 Discord alerts. The heading reads Discord alerts: active, or paused, or blocked.
  2. Test the channel. Press Test delivery, then Confirm. The test message arrives in your channel, or the destination is refused.
  3. Private channel still valid. SpyBot needs to see the channel, post in it and embed links, in a channel hidden from @everyone with only you and SpyBot added. A channel that stops being private, or that SpyBot can no longer read, is blocked and receives nothing. See Discord setup problems.
  4. Pause. A pause on the account stops Discord delivery too. Resume it from ⚙️ Settings, or from Telegram.
  5. Filters and quota. Same account, same filters and same quota as Telegram.
  6. Ten-minute rule. An alert still waiting after 10 minutes expires without being sent.
  1. No push notifications. The Web Terminal only shows alerts while its tab is open. Leave the tab open to follow the feed.
  2. Sound off. Press the speaker button, or open Sound alerts and turn on Play sound on new notifications.
  3. Pause. Settings shows Notifications paused and an Unpause SpyBot button when the account is paused. Its notice reads: all chains and trackers are paused, and alerts already queued may still arrive.
  4. Chain switched off. Each chain has its own switch. A paused chain states that new notifications are paused while tracking and history continue.
  5. Filters, quota and wallet status. Same account settings as Telegram and Discord.

Check the wallet itself

  • It still trades. A wallet that stopped buying, selling or moving funds sends nothing. Its last move is visible on a block explorer.
  • The move is one SpyBot alerts on. Token approvals and some program calls are decoded only where the protocol is supported. See Chains and Protocols.
  • The chain matches. A Solana address is tracked on Solana only. A 0x address is tracked on Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain, and on Polygon only when you added it with a Polymarket profile link.
  • The Polymarket switches allow it. A Polymarket alert also needs 🎯 Polymarket and the switch of its move, and a trade below the Polygon Min Trade USD stays silent. See Polymarket traders.

Compare two apps

The Telegram chat and the Web Terminal feed receive the same alerts for the same account. If the Web Terminal feed shows an alert that Telegram did not deliver, the Telegram chat is the problem: unblock the bot, or send /start. If neither shows it, the account settings are the cause, not the delivery.
