Trading problems
What each SpyBot trading error means, from a missing SOL balance to slippage, a missing pool, an uncertain order or a failed transaction.
SpyBot trades Solana tokens through Jupiter, with a 1% fee and a default slippage of 33%. When an order cannot go through, the app names the reason. This page lists the reasons and what to do about each one.
A buy needs SOL for three things: the amount you type, the 1% fee and a 0.01 SOL network reserve. In practice, a 0.1 SOL buy needs 0.111 SOL in the wallet.
Not enough SOL
- Web Terminal: Not enough SOL: 0.111 SOL needed with the fee and the network reserve.
- Telegram: 💔 Insufficient balance, with You have 0.03 SOL, need at least 0.111 SOL and the line trade amount + 1% fee + network fees.
Send SOL to your in-app wallet: on Telegram, open 🔐 My Wallet, copy the address and send SOL from an exchange or another wallet. A sell that fails for fees needs a little SOL left for the transaction, not for the amount.
The price moved past your slippage
- Web Terminal: The price moved beyond your slippage. Try again or raise your slippage.
- Telegram: ⚠️ Slippage exceeded with The price moved too fast during the transaction.
- Discord: the tolerance sits above the form, for example BUY slippage: 33% · SELL slippage: 33%, and the order comes back as failed.
Raise the slippage and retry. Slippage is set in ⚙️ Settings then ⚡ In-App Trading Settings on Telegram, in Settings in the Web Terminal, and in the trading form on Discord. The range is 1% to 500%. A high slippage fills at a worse price, so raise it in steps.
No pool, no route, or nothing tradable
- Web Terminal: No liquidity pool was found for this token., This token cannot be traded right now. or This token has left the Pump.fun bonding curve.
- Telegram: 💔 No liquidity pool found for this token. with Token may not be tradable yet., or 💔 Token is not tradable on Jupiter. with Token may be new or have no liquidity.
There is nothing to buy against yet. A token on its bonding curve trades through Pump.fun, and a token that recently migrated can need a moment before a pool answers. Wait and retry. SpyBot cannot trade EVM tokens at all: those alerts link to trading bots.
You do not hold the token
- Web Terminal: You do not hold this token.
- Telegram: 💔 You don't own this token.
The sell button sells from your in-app wallet only. If the tokens sit in another wallet, SpyBot cannot sell them.
Another operation is pending
- Web Terminal: Another operation is pending on this wallet. Wait for its confirmation.
- Discord: ⚠️ Not sent: another operation is pending on this wallet. Wait before retrying on any platform.
- Discord: An order is already pending. Refresh to check its status.
- Web Terminal: Your settings changed elsewhere. Reload them and try again. appears when the trade settings were changed in another window.
One operation runs at a time on a wallet, and the block covers the three apps. Wait for the previous buy or sell to confirm, then retry.
The order is uncertain
The Web Terminal tracks each order with a status: Sent, confirming on-chain…, then Checking the order…, then Confirmed or Failed. A slow RPC answer is not a failure. Do not send the order again from another app while a status is pending.
- Discord: Result unknown. New orders are blocked while this transaction is checked. Do not retry elsewhere.
- Discord: ⚠️ Not landed: the network dropped this transaction. Nothing was spent. You can retry.
Telegram behaves the same way: the receipt appears when the trade lands, and a timeout does not delete the trade from your history. See Order status.
The transaction failed on-chain
- Web Terminal: The transaction failed on-chain.
- Telegram: Transaction failed on-chain. History is being updated.
- Discord: ⚠️ Order failed. Refresh before trying again.
The network accepted the transaction and then rejected its execution. Nothing was swapped. Retry, and check that the wallet still holds enough SOL for the fees.
The browser is not authorized
- Web Terminal: Authorize this device before trading. or This device is no longer authorized. Authorize it again.
Trading from a new browser stays closed until you authorize it, within 10 minutes of signing in. See Authorize a device.
