Polymarket traders

Follow a Polymarket trader from their profile for alerts on every trade, redemption, merge, split, conversion and reward on Telegram, Discord and the Web Terminal.

Available onTelegramDiscordWeb TerminalAll plans

Paste a trader's Polymarket profile link and SpyBot follows their Polymarket wallet on Polygon. Each trade arrives with the outcome, the number of shares, the price and the market, and so do the trader's redeems, merges, splits, conversions and rewards.

Add a trader

A profile link takes one of two forms: polymarket.com/@handle or polymarket.com/profile/0x…. SpyBot finds the wallet behind it, adds that wallet on Polygon only, and names it after the trader's public Polymarket name, or their pseudonym, unless you type a name.

  1. Press ➕ Add in the main menu, or send /add.
  2. Send the profile link where you would send an address. Links and addresses can share one message, one per line, and a name can follow a link after a space.
  3. SpyBot confirms each wallet it adds.
  1. Open your menu with /start, then press ➕ Add wallet and Enter wallet addresses.
  2. In the Add wallets form, paste the profile link on its own line, with an optional name after it.
  3. Submit. SpyBot confirms and shows the wallet with its status.

The address option of /wallet add is too short for a full profile link, so use the form.

  1. Open Wallets and press Add Wallet.
  2. In the Single tab, paste the profile link in Wallet Address. The line under the field reads Resolving the Polymarket profile…, then Polymarket trader with the name and the address it found.
  3. Press Add Wallet.

The Bulk tab takes addresses only.

A 0x address pasted on its own is never added on Polygon: SpyBot tracks it on Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain. The profile link is the way to follow a wallet on Polygon. See Solana and EVM addresses.

What a Polymarket alert says

The first line names the move, and a sentence after the trader's name gives the amounts:

MoveFirst lineSentence
Buy🟢 BUY Yes on Polymarketbought 15.1 Yes at 69¢ for $10.42
Sell🔴 SELL No on Polymarketsold 455 No at 97¢ for $441.35
Redeem💰 REDEEM on Polymarketredeemed 120 shares for $120.00, or for $0 (losing outcome)
Merge🔀 MERGE on Polymarketmerged 19.93 share pairs for $19.93
Split✂️ SPLIT on Polymarketsplit $50.00 into 50 share pairs
Conversion🔁 CONVERSION on Polymarketconverted 10 shares
Reward🎁 REWARD on Polymarketreceived $3.20 in rewards

Prices are in cents, with one decimal at most: a share at 0.995 reads 99.5¢.

  • The first line opens the transaction on Polygonscan, and Polymarket opens Polymarket.
  • 🔹 starts the sentence, after the wallet name, which opens the wallet on Polygonscan.
  • 🎯 gives the market title, linked to the market on Polymarket.
  • 🔗 Profile opens the trader's Polymarket profile.
  • The picture is the image of the market.
  • The embed title is the first line and opens the transaction on Polygonscan.
  • The description holds the 🔹 sentence and the 🎯 market title.
  • The image of the market sits in the corner of the embed.
  • Market and Profile buttons open the market and the trader's profile on Polymarket.
  • The badge reads POL BUY, POL SELL, POL REDEEM, POL MERGE, POL SPLIT, POL CONVERT or POL REWARD.
  • The amount column shows the shares and the outcome, such as 15.1 Yes, then the value and the price, such as $10.42 @ 69¢.
  • Market, Profile and Polygonscan open the market, the trader's profile and the transaction.
  • Click the row for its details: Side, Outcome, Shares, Price and Value.

Three display switches of the Polygon screen change a Polymarket alert: 📝 Description hides the sentence, 🔗 Links hides the market and the profile, and 🖼️ Images hides the picture. See Display options.

A Polymarket alert has no BUY or SELL button and no buy link: SpyBot does not trade on Polymarket. On Telegram, its text follows the language you choose while Notification Translation is on, with all five languages available, like the other EVM alerts. Discord and the Web Terminal write it in your language too.

Polymarket filters

Polymarket has its own screen inside the Polygon settings, with one switch per kind of move.

  1. Press ⚙️ Settings, then move with ⬅️ and ➡️ to 🟪 Polygon.
  2. Press 🎯 Polymarket.
  3. Press a switch to flip it.
  1. Open ⚙️ Settings and pick the 🟪 POL tab.
  2. Press 🎯 Polymarket.
  3. Press a switch to flip it. Editing needs the filter permission that the owner of the SpyBot account grants from /discord.
  1. Open Settings and choose Polygon with the arrows.
  2. Press Polymarket, above the protocol filters.
  3. Turn a switch ON or OFF, then press Close.

  • These Buys and Sells are separate from the Buys and Sells rows of the Polygon screen, which cover token trades.
  • Min Trade USD and Max Trade USD of the Polygon screen apply to Polymarket trades. 1st Buy Only, 1st Sell Only, the market cap and the token age do not apply to a market.
  • The switches belong to your account. A tracked wallet has no Polymarket switches of its own.

Other moves on Polygon

SpyBot also alerts you about the rest of the wallet's activity on Polygon: POL and ERC-20 transfers, swaps on QuickSwap, Uniswap, 1inch, 0x, CoW Swap, KyberSwap, ParaSwap, Balancer and SushiSwap, lending on Aave and Compound, bridges through Across, and NFTs. These alerts follow the rows of the Polygon screen, as on any EVM chain. See EVM filters and protocol groups and Supported protocols.

Limits worth knowing

  • A Polymarket wallet counts as one EVM address in your plan, and an address you also track on other EVM chains still counts once. See Limits by plan.
  • No trading bot supports Polygon, so a Polygon alert carries no quick-buy button or link either.
  • A Polymarket alert has no PnL line.
  • The Multi-Wallet Tracker and Accumulation alerts count token buys on Polygon. A Polymarket trade never triggers them.
  • In the Web Terminal, Polymarket alerts show in a feed tab set to ALL: Feed Settings has no Polymarket type.
  • A link SpyBot cannot read, or a Polymarket that does not answer, stops the addition. See Why a wallet can't be added.
