Why a wallet can't be added

Every reason SpyBot refuses a wallet, from a malformed address to a plan limit or a wallet that trades too fast, and what to do about each.

Available onTelegramDiscordWeb TerminalAll plans

SpyBot validates every address before it saves it. A refusal always names a cause, and each cause has a short fix. Nothing was added when a message appears: check your list before sending the address again.

The address is invalid

The text is not a Solana or an EVM address, or it does not match the chain you picked.

  • Telegram answers Invalid address format., or Invalid Ethereum address format. for a 0x address.
  • The Web Terminal checks the format first: Enter a valid Solana or EVM wallet address. An address the server then refuses gives This address is not a valid wallet on the selected chain. The bulk form says Invalid wallet address on line 2: followed by the text it read.
  • Discord points at the line of the form: Line 2: invalid address or name longer than 25 characters. Correct it and try again. An address refused after sending gives This address is invalid, unavailable, too active for your plan, or its chain is disabled. No wallet was added.

Copy the full address again. A Solana address is 32 to 44 base58 characters, an EVM address is 0x and 40 hexadecimal characters. An extra space, a quote or a shortened form breaks it.

SpyBot asks Polymarket for the wallet behind a profile link. Two answers stop the addition:

  • The profile cannot be found. Telegram and Discord answer That Polymarket profile could not be found. The Web Terminal says No Polymarket trader matches this link., or This Polymarket link is not valid. for a link it cannot read.
  • Polymarket does not answer. Telegram and Discord answer Polymarket is unavailable right now. Try again in a moment. The Web Terminal says Polymarket is unavailable right now. Try again later.

Copy the link again from the trader's profile page: it reads polymarket.com/@handle or polymarket.com/profile/0x…. In the Web Terminal, paste it in the Single tab, since the Bulk form takes addresses only. When Polymarket is unavailable, wait a few minutes and send the link again. See Polymarket traders.

The name is too long

A name holds up to 25 characters on Telegram and Discord, and up to 20 on the Web Terminal. Shorten it and send the address again.

Your plan is full

The Solana and EVM limits are separate, and every saved wallet uses a slot, paused wallets included. The message shows your own two numbers, for example:

  • Solana: 🚫 Wallet Limit Reached! You have 10/10 wallets on your current plan.
  • EVM: 🚫 EVM Wallet Limit Reached! You have 10/10 EVM wallets on your current plan.
  • Discord: Your plan has no space for another saved wallet. Paused wallets also use a slot. No wallet was added.

Remove a wallet you no longer follow, or raise the limit with a higher plan. The live numbers are in Plans and limits.

The wallet is too active for your plan

Some addresses trade dozens of times a minute. Following one would empty your alert quota in minutes, so SpyBot refuses it before saving it:

This wallet is too active for the tracking limit of your plan.

SpyBot reads the last 500 transactions of the address, measures the rate over the last 10 minutes, and compares the hourly rate with the one your plan allows. Above 100 transactions a minute the answer is always no. This check runs on Solana addresses.

Nothing on your side changes the activity of that wallet. Pick another wallet, or move to a plan with a higher transaction rate for the chains you follow.

The address cannot be tracked

This address cannot be tracked. On Telegram the message is longer: 🚫 This address is a Solana system/program address and cannot be tracked.

Telegram: the System Program address sent in the Add wallets flow, and SpyBot's answer: This address is a Solana system/program address and cannot be tracked

Nothing is saved after a refusal. Your wallet list stays as it was.

These addresses are Solana programs and shared accounts that appear in most transactions. SpyBot refuses them because each one would flood every user:

  • The wrapped SOL mint So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 and the System Program 11111111111111111111111111111111.
  • The SPL Token, Token 2022 and Associated Token programs, Compute Budget, Vote, Stake and the Sysvar accounts.
  • DEX programs such as Jupiter, Raydium, Orca, Meteora, and the Pump.fun bonding curve with PumpSwap.

Track the wallet that trades on those programs, not the program itself.

Tracking is not enabled for that chain

Tracking is not enabled for this chain on this bot yet.

SpyBot can run with an EVM chain switched off. Add the 0x address again once that chain is available, or follow the same address on a chain that is enabled. See Solana and EVM addresses.

The wallet was already tracked

This is not a refusal. Discord answers Already tracked: 1 and the wallet keeps its name, filters and pause state. On Telegram a known address sends the usual confirmation and nothing is duplicated.

Sending a known address with a name renames it. See Manage your wallets.

The address is on SpyBot's spam list

A flagged address is saved like any other. Telegram marks its line with 🚫 and sorts it after your tracked and paused wallets. It keeps its settings button, so you can pause or delete it from the list.

You sent more than 50 addresses at once

One message or one form takes up to 50 addresses.

  • Discord: Enter between 1 and 50 wallets, one per line.
  • Web Terminal: Maximum 50 wallets allowed.
  • Telegram keeps the first 50 lines of the message.

Split the list and send the rest in a second batch.

SpyBot could not confirm the save

A network or a concurrent change interrupted the write. Nothing is lost, and nothing is assumed:

  • The wallet list changed while adding. Reload your wallets and retry.
  • Could not confirm the wallet was saved. Check your wallet list before retrying.
  • Your wallet list is unavailable right now. Reload and retry.

Reload the list first. If the wallet is there, you are done. If it is not, send it again.
